Country Day’s Makerspace is a space dedicated to hands-on creation and invention. The lab is jam-packed with boxes and bins of materials specifically for student use including two state-of-the art 3-D printers.

Makerspace, in Room 20,  provides students with basic hand tools, art and craft supplies and tools, and recycled materials like cardboard and plastic. Students are able to come up with their own ideas, find inspiration in the materials available, and make their imaginations come to life.

By learning a new skill like sewing or building structures with wood scraps, students learn to use flexible thinking and problem solving.
