Toddler Story Hour
Fall 2018 Series: September 14 and 28; October 19 and 26
9:00 a.m. in Winters Library

Get an early start on literacy with Toddler Story Hour. This fun Friday morning event is designed for babies and toddlers up to age 4 and their parents/caregivers. Come enjoy listening to stories, singing songs, and learning all about the world of books with our Lower School Librarian Sue Ryan. Snacks and coffee are available for participants.

Fall Family Festival & Homecoming
Sept. 28, 2018 from 3:00-8:00 p.m.
2636 Latham Drive, Sacramento

This annual event hosts homecoming sporting events (Go Cavs!), family fun and a complimentary BBQ for current and future Country Day families, friends and neighbors.

Sacramento Farm-to-Fork Festival
Sept. 29, 2018 from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Between Third and Eighth Streets on Sacramento’s Capitol Mall

During this annual Farm-to-Fork event we welcome questions from festival attendees, give out goodies, and promote our school’s organic garden and farm-to-fork curriculum, all while supporting a cause we love.

All-School Admissions Open House (PK-12)
Nov. 3, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

At Sacramento Country Day School, we appreciate each student’s unique character. Whether your child is interested in robotics or basketball, literature or acting, Country Day’s unique program provides every student with the tools, experiences, and mentorship they need to dig deep, reach far, and realize their unique potential. 

Our annual Open House is your chance to learn more about how we inspire students from PK-12th grade to think critically, live creatively, and act compassionately.

High School Preview
Feb. 13, 2019 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Our annual High School Preview give visiting families a chance to see first-hand how we challenge students to innovate and explore in a flexible academic program that merges the arts, literature, science, technology, engineering and math. Attendees move through a “mini-schedule” of High School classes and hear from  our speakers’ panel.

Spring Showcase & Celebration
May 2, 2019 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Our Spring Showcase & Celebration is a great time for currently enrolled families to explore all that their children have accomplished in their current grade level, and also walk through their child’s upcoming grade (or grade levels) to explore what’s coming next. While this event is designed with current families in mind, future and newly enrolled families are welcome to join us to experience all that Country Day has to offer and get to know our welcoming community.
